Margaret’s Story:
My excess weight has made a major impact on my life. I can’t walk very far without gasping for air. My doctors have told me that I must lose the weight in order to sustain any quality of life. I can’t go to the mall, and I even have a hard time just going grocery shopping. I feel like I’m tied to the house and car and the excess weight has stopped me from living.
I have a grandchild that means the world to me. I want to go to the zoo or the amusement park with him, or just be able to play and enjoy him instead of telling him I can’t do things.
I am on many medications, and am tired of keeping track of all the prescriptions much less the expense of paying for them.
I can’t even imagine how happy I would feel to be rid of the excess weight. It would be like having a new life, one with less medications – one where I could enjoy going to the mall, walking in the park, and taking a stroll on the beach. Most importantly, I could enjoy spending time with my grandchild.
I feel like I could really live, instead of just feeling like I am waiting to die.
Together, my daughter Candy and I are going to change our lives and the life of the 9 year old we love.
Both Candy and Margaret are doing an excellent job! Here is Margaret – 7 weeks and 20 plus pounds lighter! Congratulations! It shows!
The incredible shrinking woman! Our Mother and Grandmother, Margaret, is 45 pounds less in 17 weeks. Healthier, lighter and more energetic!
Wow! What a difference 60 pounds make!
Margaret is looking wonderful and feeling great!

Well, right now the weight is coming off slowly, but I’m not complaining. Sometimes we can take giant steps, and other times we have to take small ones. What matters is that the steps are in the right direction. I’m very happy with my progress, and my doctors all tell me to keep up the good work. I wouldn’t be where I’m at now if it weren’t for Weight Away. I’m so thankful! We’re going to see Debbie Lane tomorrow. She always leaves me feeling good. I hope everyone else is doing well.
Well, I didn’t lose any weight this last week. I think I even gained a pound, but I was retaining a lot of water. I hate stepping on the scale and finding out that I didn’t lose anything for the week. It’s O.K. though, I’m still so happy with the progress that I’ve made. It just makes me more determined to have a good weigh in this week. I still can’t believe that I’ve lost so much so quickly, and I never would have thought it would be so easy. I’m not even worried about the Holidays coming up. I know Candy and I will breeze right through it. It was so nice to see Debbie and Susan at the Apple, Cheese, and Chat last week. They looked great! I wish we would have seen Josie. I hope she’s doing well. Weigh in is tomorrow. I’m hoping for a good one!
I hope you will have a good weigh in today. Keep up the good work. You looked great at the Apple, Cheese and Chat. Even your face was glowing, probably from the fact that you feel so much better. You can do it.

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve been so busy lately, and never could have managed before. I’ve lost a total of 45 pounds, and I feel great!! I am so happy with my progress. This is just amazing to me, and it is so easy. It makes me say, “Gee I wish I could have done this a long time ago.” I cannot tell you how long it’s been since I’ve been at my current weight. My husband is truly amazed. He never believed I could do this, but now he’s a believer. I am so thankful for this program, and thank you Dr. Leonhardt for the pizza!! I will forever be thankful! I hope all of the other girls are doing great and hope to see them Wednesday!
Your pictures look amazing. Good for you. I can’t wait to see you also on Wednesday. We might have to stay longer so we can catch up, share stories and what has worked.
I haven’t been able to get on in a couple of weeks because of computer problems, but I finally made it. I’ve had a couple of slow weeks, but I’m pretty happy that I’m down a total of 36lbs. Who wouldv’e thought that it would be possible for this 70 year old to lose that kind of weight so quickly. It’s truly amazing. I’m so thankful for this program. After starting out with some sickness issues, I’m finally starting to feel good, and I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time. I’m glad to hear that everyone else is doing well also. Keep it up girls!
Margaret,
you are doing so well on the program, congratulations! Eating healthier and shedding off the extra pounds does help to have more energy and to be able to enjoy life to its fullest. I am looking forward to see you, your daughter and lovely grandson soon!

I’ve lost 27 pounds so far and I can’t believe it with as sick as I’ve been. This is truly amazing. I can only imagine how much weight I am going to lose when I feel better. I finally am getting a waistline. I haven’t seen one of those in years! I think about my skinny me every day. I’m so happy with my progress. It’s nice to hear that everyone else is doing well too. Hope to see you all soon.
Hi Margaret.
I’m so proud of you. Great job! I know it’s been a little challenging since you haven’t been well, but you’ve stuck to it and done great!! Keep up the great work! (Hope you enjoyed your day “off” the other day while Candy and Ben were at the park!)
I am feeling a lot better. I could not believe I lost 4.4# being very sick. I am down 21# so far. That is SO GREAT.
I have not written because of my computer problems. But I am so happy. I have not been down to this weight for a long time and I am not hungry.
