Connie

Connie is a young mom, whose weight has definitely impacted her life.  She is ready to be healthy and energetic!  Her story:  “I have trouble doing activities with my two children.  My 8 year old is a special needs child and I get very tired trying to keep up with her.  My 10 year old is very aware of my size and is cautious about her weight.  I do not look forward to weekends because my family wants to do something fun, and I find myself sitting out or not going.

I need to get healthy for my kids and for me.  I want to be around to see them grow.  Right now, I feel like I am on the outside of the world looking in.

sorry I missed a post, summer, it’s been crazy. I picked up 3# and last week i lost them again. I am excited to weigh in this week. I’ve been running 3days a week 2 miles and boot camp 3 days also. Also paying close….close attention to my food.
There is a test Dr.L wants me to do. about testing my cortizone lvl. If it’s out of whack, that may explain up and down. If I produce to much, it would influence my weight. I’ll keep you informed.

I am sorry I haven’t checked in in a couple of weeks. Last week I was down 4# yea, but I was worried about Easter. Ham, salty and I retain water, and Candy, which I just like, and the tradition of resurrection rolls, great story and just plain yummy. So I did the ham, and scalloped potoatoes is a tradition that my family enjoys, but I cannot have. So as Dr.L says “what ever you do with a potato you can do with a turnup. So I did, sliced turnups thin used egg beaters, light cheese, skim milk, and konjak flour. I have to say that was better than the potato version and dare I say better than the ham.
So I weighed in this week, down another 4#. wow, I was happy. So I am at 251, only 50# away from my husband, lol.

wheeeww…I just got in from boot camp. oh the pain, but in a good way. There will come a time when you need to intensify your work out once or twice a week, Boot camp is a great way to do that. It may feel hard core at first but you get a little bit used to it.
    So…updates:
The Vital Triple Mag: is great. totaly works (sorry for talkin about the B.M. but it’s important, for me anyway) I took 3 the first night and will take 1 every evening after that. Now, I may miss a day and thats o.k, I make sure I take it a few times a week. LLOOOVVEE IITT. You feel so tired and booged down if you havent done #2 in a couple of days. Not to mention how much weight that adds.
oh and Dr.L’s stuffed cabbage rolls….yuuummmyyyyy . she has some great recipies.
    shed 2.4 pounds this week.
Apple and cheese chat this tuesday(i think) double check. she is awesome to listen to. I have some things to ask her to explain about the body.
so thats it for now….work out this week- move the body, read a little -move the mind and help someone -move the heart…..

so when I started i was oozzing out of a size 28, now I’m in 20(comfortably) and getting into 18…woot..woot.

wow, I’m up 4 huge pounds……..dont know what to say about that. no excuses….I’m on my way out to boot camp this morning. Get my butt back in gear. i dont want to obsess over this to much. I need to be o.k with the fluctuation my body may have, but I dont want to take it lightly. I didnt want to exercise to much last week and thats o.k. I did do alot of yard work, taking time off is o.k but i still need to be focused that exercise is a vital part of losing more weight.
Dr L is doing the next apple and cheese chat, I’m going. she’s going to talk about hormones and how it effects your weight. I love listening to her explain things and how she understands the human body.
